Topic:
Sofia is currently completing her Masters in Dance Studies in the School of Physical Education at Otago. Her thesis explores dance and nationalism in the Balkans. She works as a teaching fellow the Dance Studies program. Kalogeropoulou has a Bachelor of Performing Arts with a major in dance at Auckland University. A full member of the Royal Academy of Dance, she has taught ballet in Greece, New Zealand and London UK. She has worked as a principal dancer for Company Z in Auckland and works as a freelance dancer and choreographer in Dunedin.
